10 Classy Castles in England – part two
So after drooling over the five previous Castles in this series, SeePlaces hopes you are ready for the next five Castles to blow your mind! Here they are in all their splendour and glory:
Leeds Castle is known as the loveliest Castle in the world. Built upon islands it is surrounded by a majestic moat and has stood for more than 900 years! The three different kinds of accommodation in Leeds Castle provides a room for everyone’s tastebuds. Within the Maiden’s tower in the castle is five distinct bedrooms that offer breathtaking views and even more breathtaking facilities! Or you could stay in the Stable Courtyard. The Stable Courtyard has a very colourful history! The Leeds Castle Cottages are found in the lovely wooded area surrounding the Castle. Each cottage is distinctly furnished and many have great period features. The cottages are perfect for a family or a group of friends. Offering accommodation, away from the crowds. You are also free to walk within the Castle grounds when the are gates closed. A lovely opportunity to do some exploring! The Knights Glamping is an awesome experience! The Citadel is a quaint Hotel set in the idyll area of Shropshire. The views of the Welsh Hills in the distance lends itself to the utter peace and tranquility which this Hotel offers. The first thing that stands out for most guests upon arrival at Langley Castle is the long drive up to the main door.
